Company History
TeamPeople is one of a diverse group of companies under the Team Group banner that has made its name in the broadcasting, cable and corporate communications industries. Known as a source for quality staffing solutions, program production, technical expertise and unsurpassed customer service, TeamPeople and its sister companies have long been recognized by clients nationwide as an excellent choice for supporting their production requirements.
In 1992, Team Group was founded to provide original programs and production services to cable channels and television networks. At the time, each of the founding owners had already earned nearly twenty years experience in production and engineering. They still lead Team Group today.
Their first venture was the building of a production facility to cater to the needs of the broadcast and cable networks in the Washington, DC area. In 1997 Team Group diversified its' services to include people management and staffing for broadcast, cable and corporate operations. From this first venture with CNN Washington DC Bureau the company's client list has expanded to include broadcast, cable and Fortune 500 companies. In 2004, Team Group joined forces with the founder of Crews Control to create a unique and unsurpassed single source for media staffing needs.
